Got this for my 3 year old son. He loves it! It does come in many different parts that you have to assemble. But I found the product pretty easy to put together. The instructions are similar to Lego or Ikea furniture instructions. If you're used to those then this will be a breeze. Took me about 30 minutes to put it together. Just make sure you have all the pieces in front of you for each section. The only thing I found to be a pain was trying to put the stickers on some of the pieces. Also, if you want to use the car lift then you'll need to keep the little screw driver that came with it. You have to turn a screw to move the lift up and down. I just wish they maybe had a place where you could securely place the screw driver on the play set for safe keeping. This was a Christmas gift for my nephew and he absolutely loved it.A plusThis product requires an engineering degree to assemble, which I lack, so I brought in a dear friend, who is a mechanical technician. He threw in the towel after three days. He just walked away in silence. I hear he's drinking again, after years of sobriety. I pressed on alone and after a time found the solution to this challenge. My grandson put it together in an hour. And he loves this toy service station. That's all that counts. Our 4 year old grandson loves this gift!!!Great toy idea but fails on the execution: instructions are not detailed enough (they leave a lot of room for you to figure stuff out) and are inconsistent (guidance in one step is not consistent with the image on another step). Even if you mount it well, the roof is not properly designed and comes off easily when kids play with it (it comes into place by pressure, but pieces move when playing and you need to reposition it all the time)Unfortunately this is junk. I bought with high expectations. Looked super cool, but…. Well where do I start. First the assembly. Not easy, but okay. Doable. I could live with hard assembling, but here is where it really goes south. The car wheels don’t stay on. Soon as you start rolling the car the wheels start falling off and you have to tighten them. Also the car jack doesn’t hold the car. It’s pretty useless. There is nothing locking the car in so my son can’t work on the car like you’d think. It supposed to be to jack the car up to change out the tires, but you have to completely hold the car. Also, it is not portable friendly. Nothing really keeps anything in place, so you can’t just move the station without taking all the pieces off. Really has no functionality at all. This product comes completely disassembled ! It would take an older child to put it all together! This toy is perfect if your child loves to take things apart, and put them back together again. My little boy cannot put this down! The car wash has doors that move up and down easily, the garage has a ramp, so when the car needs fixing, it can be put up high. It comes with 8 wheels in total, so you can put 4 on the car, and have 4 spare, on the little stand. Also comes with a screwdriver, to put the wheels on and off, and obviously, the car. My son is 3, and finds it easy to hold the screwdriver. After a few goes, he was able to take off and put on new wheels, by himself. Ideal for this age group.Easy to put together, and one of the best things we have bought, and keeps my son busy for a long timeI got this at a bargain price, I wouldn't have been happy paying full price. It regularly has to be screwed together as it's plastic the pieces become loose quickly.First assembly is quite complex (the user guide is fully graphic, no words so that it could be multilingual) and sometimes the pictures are not clear enough, and stickers are a bit tricky to put on for a 4 year old kid. But once assembled, it's a very robust toy, and the "repairnic" (the mechanic who does repairs) is very happy with it. We are now servicing all the cars in the house without any hindrance. Was so looking forward to gifting this to my grandson but so very disappointed with it .A little bit fiddly to assemble but not sturdy at all and he's got more enjoyment from the car included !! Wish I had just bought some duplo or playmobil which he loves. Not recommended at all ,save your money !!This is a great toy. My garage obsessed 4 year old spends hours with it. He particularly enjoys being able to actually change the tyres on the car. It's large enough for small hands to manipulate easily & the moving parts move smoothly. Took about 15 minutes to construct. Instructions easy to follow. Money well spent.
