It's works exactly as described. I'm Supper happy with it.The only thing that worries me is it gets very hot. But had no issues.USB speed is higher than I expected. I copied huge amount of file on 4 USB thumb drive. I expected it stops work or be very slow but it worked even faster than the direct usb port. 10 out of 10Great product out of the box, got the HDMI video working in 10 mins on both USB 3.1 and C ports, includes time to download the standard driver for Displaylink. Shud work for most all laptops of moderate CPU and vintage. Single plug audio/Mike, USB 3.1x3 and USB 2 for my wireless keyboard all worked perfectly. Did not check out the Enet or memory sticks but no reason to doubt. Only issue is that the unit does get a bit warm so lifetime or early failure might be an issue so I slapped on a heat sink and problem solved otherwise folks can slap on some mutilayer aluminum tin foil cap as it does not take much to cool it few degrees down for safety and lifetime.I was about to get a new laptop of a different brand, which was proving to be a bit difficult because I have been using Apple Macbooks since 2014. I got my 1st MacBook Air in 2014, and it held me down until 2021. The only reason I upgraded was because I couldn't download the new updates to the OS anymore, which became a bit cumbersome, as I also started to use some software that didn't seem to work well with the OS I had.The fact that my MacBook Air lasted me as long as it did with absolutely no problems at all until I could no longer update the OS made me want to get another one. For me, the price for the length of time and the quality of my purchase made it worth it. Well, when I got my current MacBook, I had no idea that it didn't support dual monitors - this was a mistake on my part, but I also had no use for dual monitors at the time that I purchased it. Once that came up, I was really frustrated with Apple and just as annoyed with myself for not knowing this. I looked up some videos on YouTube for a workaround, and couldn't find anything promising because they all requires an expensive purchase for a DisplayLink hub, and I wasn't about to make that kind of purchase because what if at some point, Apple no longer supports the driver?So, I looked on TikTok (LOL. TikTok for the win!), and I found a video of someone who had this hub. Purchased it same day, this came in the mail 2 days later, and voila!! I have dual monitors! Y'all saved me time from researching other laptops and money from buying one! Thank you!Other than the rough edges with the DisplayLink driver on MacOS, its a solid piece of kit if you only need to support 1080p monitors. I can't recommend for anyone running 1440p or 4k due to lacking support. Do read the fine print if you see "2k" in any of the marketing around the resolution, since it is not proper 1440 (2560 x 1440, 16:9 aspect ratio). Due note that at the cost of this product, you should be considering if a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 adapter is more appropriate for your situation.Depending upon what you need this for, it's a fine piece of very versatile kit for working on monitors or lower res screens on the road. It's also handy to double as a 3.5mm audio jack for phones which no longer have them, which I used on my OnePlus 7T Android smartphone.Knocking one star off as the original marketing claimed that this supported 4k (assumed to be at 60fps), but it does not support 4k at any framerate. However, the seller was gracious enough to check into my original support claim and realized the issue was not in the product, but in the advertising.Update : Customer service promptly addressed my concern and arranged for a refund as the product did not meet my needs.I bought this based on the title which claimed triple display capability. My bad that I did not review all the pictures in the listing, which show that it is really only two heads for extended mode. Triple heads only applies to mirror mode. If you are trying to connect three monitors in extended more through this dock, it wouldn't work. You can only mirror two or all three monitors.I do like the SD card slots and not having to power it up (draws required power from the PC's USB-C port). Also like that they include the USB-A to C adapter.Look through the illustrations carefully before buying. Don't make the mistake I made.I think the docking station is a really good value. A couple of things I experienced with my M1 MacBook I wished were different.1. This really isn’t a plug and play type of dock. You will need to download the display link program in order for your MacBook to recognize it.2. I only had one monitor connected to it and it would not allow a higher resolution than 1920X1080. It looks like I will have to connect it with the usb-c straight to my M1 in order to keep the highest resolution.Despite these two concerns, for the money it’s a good bargain.My only complaint so far is that the VGA cable port will only seem to mirror the display of my laptop rather than extending it. The hdmi ports work great though. Does what I need it to do.I ordered the docking station. It was shipped out quickly. I received the product in a nice box and packaging. Great Customer Service. they were able to answer questions and get me help. I did have issue with the docking station but they were helpful, quick, polite. I am hard to please with customer service. Extremely satisfied. It was easy to download the software and very quick and simple to set up. All I had to do with plug the stuff in and it work instantly.
