This is a great alternative to the tiny adapter I use to charge my pencil. I love that it is usb compatible so I can plug it into a cube to charge without untethering another device for the power cord, (convenient), and that it comes in pairs so I can keep one near where I work and one in my bag for when I’m out or traveling. I plan on getting another v 1 pencil at some point and see myself using these a long time.Not a negative exactly, but be aware that the pencil end will not insert fully into the charger housing. It’s a snug fit and apparently only meant to go partially in, because it’s charging and works well. I tested both before using and they work great. I think I read a review before buying these in which the reviewer complained that it broke or destroyed their pencil, but it sounds like they were a bit rough on it and jammed the pencil fully in when it wasn’t meant to be fully encased. It would be nice if it was designed to fully insert, but it’s not really an issue.I think the price is reasonable (especially compared to what Apple would charge if they created such a device). The wire seems sturdier than branded products as well, so I don’t anticipate that fraying at the stress point near the end, and it’s a nice alternative to the adapter that comes with the pencil (or sticking it into your iPad). Highly recommend!
