Own a Blu R1 HD. Charger that comes with phone charges in approximately one hour. This charger charges the phone in about three. The base on the charger provided with the phone is very warm. I don't notice the heat is this charger, indicating that it either does not charge at 2.4amp or charges at a more even rate. Trickle charging is the best for batteries, so I use this charger whenever possible. The phone is not as warm either.
