These are great little battery chargers, based upon the TP4056 chip. These specifically have a 4056H chip, and NOT a 4057. I don’t know why the description mentions 4057 at all, because this product has nothing to do with the 4057. FYI, the 4056 and 4057 are basically the same, except the 4056 can handle 1A of current with a supply of less than 8V max, while the 4057 can only handle half as much current (500mA), but a supply voltage up to 16V max. Since these are designed for a 5V USB-C input (or a 5V direct solder connection), the 4056 chip is the better choice for handling higher current.These boards let you connect the battery to one terminal, while still passing along 4.2V from the other terminals. The 4056 chip includes all sorts of battery protections, like over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature. I spot tested a few, and they worked fine. 5 stars, despite the odd description that incorrectly mentions the 4057 chip.
