At the time I purchased this little rubber cover, it was the only one I could find on Amazon and unfortunately, was advertised as a product for Rivians.I asked the seller if it would fit other J1772 charging ports and he/she didn’t know. I took a chance and ordered it.As you can see from the attached pictures it does fit a standard charging port with a little work. The tab/handle on the bottom of the cover can be easily removed and thenit slides right into place. This is for use on a Chevrolet Silverado WT4 by the way.The charge port of my truck is protected from gross contamination by a hinged cover just like those used on ICE vehicles to cover the gas cap. Dirt and water easily escapes around this cover and I feared the port was accumulating dirt and moisture as a result. At 10,000 miles it was already filthy. This should help prevent that. The bottom DC fast charging portion of my charging port does have an attached cover but not the top.Time will tell if this was a good idea or not.
